Clare and John were married at Kenmore church on Easter Saturday. They chose Taymouth Marina as the venue for their reception. This stunning little corner of Perthshire sits on the shores of Loch Tay, around a mile from Kenmore.
The bridal party got ready in a cottage a few miles from the church, with hair and make up by Kirsty Macpherson and her team. The flowers were created by Coach House Flowers in Grandtully. The guys got themselves ready on one of the Marinas many lodges.
The church ceremony at Kenmore was conducted by the Rev. Anne Brennan. After this, Clare and John took a short boat ride to the marina. During the drinks reception, we took all the family photos needed before I took Clare and John down to the waterside for some photos.
Because it was easter, Clare and John decided not to have the traditional wedding cake. Instead they chose to have a giant Easter Egg, created by Iain Burnett the Highland Chocolatier. Clare smashed the egg with a wooden hammer made by her father Les.
During the evening, their wedding band, Highway, kicked off the evening party with some great music!
